These terms govern your use of the AtPace mobile application and website (the "Service"), operated by [Legal entity name — to be completed] ("AtPace", "we"). By creating an account you accept them.

1. The Service

AtPace is an AI-assisted sports-coaching application: it generates training programs, adapts loads to your logged performance, tracks your progress and provides an AI coach chat. A free tier gives access to core training features; the AtPace Pro subscription unlocks AI generation, optimization and the coach chat.

2. Not medical advice

AtPace provides fitness guidance, not medical advice. Programs are generated from the information you provide and from general training principles; they do not replace a physician, physiotherapist or certified personal trainer. Consult a doctor before starting any training program, especially if you have a medical condition or injury. You train under your own responsibility: know your limits, use proper equipment, and stop if you feel pain.

3. Your account

• You must be at least 15 years old.
• Provide accurate information — programs are built from it.
• Keep your credentials confidential; you are responsible for activity on your account.
• You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Delete my account).

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service: no unlawful content in messages or published programs, no harassment of other users, no attempts to disrupt, reverse-engineer or extract data from the Service, no impersonation. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

5. User content

You keep ownership of the content you create (programs, templates, messages, photos). By publishing a program to the marketplace you grant AtPace and other users a non-exclusive licence to display and use it within the Service. If you delete your account, programs that other users saved remain available to them in anonymized form.

6. AtPace Pro — subscription terms

6.1 Purchase and billing

AtPace Pro is a renewable subscription purchased exclusively through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Prices, currencies and billing periods (monthly or yearly) are displayed in the store at the moment of purchase. Billing is handled entirely by Apple or Google under their own terms — we never receive your payment details.

6.2 Auto-renewal and cancellation

The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before renewal, directly in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings (also reachable from the app: Profile → Manage subscription). Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Pro access until the end of the paid period.

6.3 Right of withdrawal (EU)

The subscription is a digital service that begins immediately upon purchase. In accordance with EU consumer law, by purchasing you expressly request immediate execution and acknowledge that the 14-day right of withdrawal is waived once the service has begun. Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google according to their store policies.

6.4 Price changes

If the subscription price changes, the store will notify you and the new price only applies to subsequent renewals, which you remain free to cancel.

7. Availability

We aim for a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The app is designed to keep core training features working offline; AI features require a connection. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, AtPace's liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the subscription during the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. Section 2 applies in full to any training-related injury.

9. Intellectual property

The AtPace name, application, design and exercise catalogue are protected. These terms grant you a personal, non-transferable right to use the app; they transfer no other right.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. Material changes are announced in the app; continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence remain unaffected. Disputes go to the competent courts after an attempt at amicable resolution via support@atpace.app.
